Cross Creek Community Church, located 2 miles from the light in Trucksville at 370 Carverton Road, is pleased to announce that they will be a relay center, collecting gift-filled shoe boxes, again this year for Operation Christmas Child! Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project, brings joy and hope to needy children around the world through these gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Since 1993, more than 94 million shoe box gifts have been delivered to children in more than 130 countries. Shoe boxes may be dropped off at the church anytime today between 9am and 12pm. Please feel free to stop at the church to pick up your instructions on how to pack your shoe box. You may also call the church office at 696-0399 for further details.
