The 2nd in a series of 5 Land Use webinars will be held on February 20, 12:00 – 1:00 PM and 7:00 – 8:00 PM. Today’s topic is How Preemption of Zoning & Other Local Controls Impacts Planning. Preemption sometimes limits how planners and municipalities can regulate certain uses and activities within the context of land use ordinances. This session will look at the different types of preemption and focus on how certain statutes preempt or affect local regulation. The cost is $25 for the series of 5 webinars.
