Childcare provider training, December 5, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Wayne County Extension Office, 648 Park St., Honesdale, PA 18438. Topic: Partnering with Parents: Working as a Team. Participants will define guidelines for building relationships with parents, and review some of the parenting styles seen by childcare providers. Participants will develop strategies for dealing with sensitive issues, working with language barriers or cultural differences. Cost: $5.00. Registration is required by December 2 by going to http://www.pakeys.org/pages/login.aspx. Payment must be received in the extension office, 648 Park St., Honesdale, PA 18438, PRIOR to the workshop date.
